“ During the COVID lockdown, my boyfriend and I had our first share of trying out new restaurants through takeout or delivery. Don Tortaco may have been one of them, but looking back at it now, I don't really remember if I ever had them before or not. We went to his parents' house in Southern Highlands to help them put up holiday decorations and doing all that work left us hungry. Don Tortaco, open 24 hours, is one of those places where you can get a late night bite to eat or if you just want a quick dinner for yourself. Though I'm not a fan of chain fast food restaurants by any means, they have some really good burritos! We went inside because I needed more time to think about what I wanted. Eventually I made my decision and we ordered the California burrito for the both of us. The California burrito included what your normally find inside of a burrito, with French fries being the extra ingredient. My boyfriend got a side of rice for himself. I originally wanted to get a thing of nacho fries, but he said that their portions were large and that it was possible that I wouldn't finish it. I was just ok with the burrito, though. Plenty of people were working there and our order came out in a breeze. Again, tasty burritos! Especially when they have fries in them. ”
